My name is Chelsea Adler and I am a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS). I currently work as an Actuary at Root Inc., an InsurTech start-up based in Columbus, OH. I specialize in evaluating risk and developing rating plans for auto and home insurance.
I am married to a wonderful husband named Max and we have a sweet kitten named Cupcake. Prior to becoming an actuary, I competed as a synchronized swimmer for over 15 years. I was blessed to win several national championships, earn a spot on the U.S. National team and compete on the Varsity team at The Ohio State University all four years of college.
My life was forever changed the day I invited Jesus Christ into my heart. Everything I do is driven by gratitude for his love and sacrifice. My greatest hope is to make His name known and bring Him glory. The joy and peace He provides far surpasses anything this world has to offer. If you gain nothing else from this blog, I hope you know that there is a God that fully knows and loves you. So much so, that he sent his son Jesus to die so that you and I could be redeemed and live in relationship with Him.
In addition to my passion for insurance, I love coffee, running and CrossFit. I enjoy fashion, home decor, beaches and time with friends & family.
